ESPAÑOL: “Entre hielo y nubes“ Durante nuestro viaje a la Antártida, tuvimos la oportunidad de presenciar las maniobras de re-aprovisionamiento de la Base Marambio, una de las principales bases científicas que la Argentina tiene en el continente blanco. Durante este proceso el Rompehielos Almirante Irizar, debe estar constantemente en movimiento para evitar chocar con los icebergs que pueblan en las corrientes marinas del Mar de Weddell, algo que requiere de toda la atención de la tripulación del rompehielos.

ENGLISH: "Between ice and clouds" During our trip to Antarctica, we had the opportunity to witness the resupply maneuvers of the Marambio Base, one of the main scientific bases that Argentina has on the white continent. During this process, the icebreaker Almirante Irizar must be constantly on the move to avoid colliding with the icebergs that populate the sea currents of the Weddell Sea, something that requires the full attention of the icebreaker's crew.
